Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information may be handled when you visit the site, activate the extension, download compatible media, manage a purchase, or ask for support.
1. Information we may collect
- Account, purchase, activation, and entitlement details such as your email, order reference, product, and access status.
- Support information you choose to send, including browser, product version, error details, and correspondence.
- Basic operational, security, activation, update, and error events where enabled.
- Website request data ordinarily processed by hosting, security, or analytics providers, such as IP address, device/browser information, and page events.
We do not ask for your Skool password. We do not intentionally collect unrelated browsing history, private browser cookies, or the contents of downloaded videos through a SERP media-conversion server.
2. Local media processing
Compatible video data travels from the source provider to your browser and is processed on your device. It is not uploaded to SERP for conversion. The extension still communicates with original media hosts and may contact SERP services for email/OTP activation, entitlement checks, updates, abuse prevention, and support functions.
3. How information is used
- Deliver purchases and maintain product access.
- Authenticate users and enforce trial or plan limits.
- Provide installation, billing, and technical support.
- Secure the service, prevent abuse, and investigate failures.
- Maintain compatibility and understand aggregate product reliability.
- Meet legal, tax, accounting, and dispute obligations.
We do not sell or rent personal information.
4. Service providers and disclosures
Information may be shared with service providers that operate checkout, payments, email, authentication, hosting, security, analytics, or support, subject to their roles and contractual protections. Information may also be disclosed when required by law, valid legal process, protection of rights or safety, or a business transfer with substantially similar safeguards.
5. Cookies and local storage
The website may use cookies or browser storage for preferences, security, analytics, and service functionality. The extension uses browser storage for activation, preferences, and queue state. Browser or source-platform cookies may be used by the browser to access content in your existing session but are not collected as a general browsing-history product.
6. Retention and security
Information is retained only as reasonably necessary for access, support, security, accounting, dispute, and legal obligations. We use HTTPS and reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no storage or transmission method can guarantee absolute security.
7. Your choices
- Uninstall the extension through your browser at any time.
- Clear extension storage by removing the extension or using supported browser controls.
- Manage billing through your SERP Store account.
- Request access, correction, deletion, or anonymization where applicable law provides those rights.
- Use browser controls to limit optional website storage or analytics where available.
8. Children, updates, and contact
The service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We may update this policy by posting a revised version and changing the date above. Privacy questions or requests may be sent to privacy@serp.co.
